Re: FTP timeout
AS I say I do not care about the timeout, if I Can't control it, I care about keep alive make it keep the session, there is no exposed configuration for it.
Re: FTP timeout
Well, in any case you should better visit the router forum.

Re: FTP timeout
I tried installing winSCP and tested both at the same time, total commander got disconnected while winSCP did not, I found this in the winSCP doc
"For FTP it is the only option and is implemented as randomly selected FTP protocol command with no effect."
maybe the trick is not to send the same command over and over again, what do you say ?
should we add such feature to total commander ?
should we add just a feature to auto reconnect and thats it ?
thanks

Re: FTP timeout
Hmm, that's what TC also does when you use the "keep alive" option.

Re: FTP timeout
After 70 min Total commander received 257 "......folder name ....." and than 421 timeout.
for its keep alive and stopped. (i guess the server disconnected (136 pwd commands) - is it ?
on tc log I see (after the last pwd) and its answer !!! --> "OFFLINE5, error=0" - what is that mean ?
can you add a feature that reconnects in case of timeout ?
