I tried that and it RAR's the whole file without breaking it down that way. Is there something I'm missing with the Multiple archives option?
Hmm, it seems there's a bug in TC - it says, "Please enter the size of each archive in bytes", however it doesn't append b to the value when calling WinRAR as it seems. Let's see what Christian has to say.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yep, it looks like Commander treat any number in that field like "abbrev" (or Christian just missed "k" before "bytes" %). Anyway, not a big deal, I fixed it in my LNG:

175="Please enter the size of each archive in kbytes (e.g. 1440, 1200, 720, or 360):

H> however it doesn't append b to the value when calling WinRAR

Of course it doesn't, 'cause it uses "-v<size>k" %). But you can easily get exact size in any measuring unit by typing it after number with trailing space, for example "1000000b " or "1M ".
But in most cases I need m/v archives because of floppies, so my chose is " -v -vd -vn " between "rar:" and "A:\file.rar" in "Pack files" dialog box.[/face]

Use the Force, young Skywalker, think like RAR and be like RAR - there is no "bk" suffix for "-v" parameter in rar.txt :))).[/face]
