Request: preserve date/time on FTP upload

It's an option for download, but apparently not for upload.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Exactly! But TC 6.0 will use the non-standard command MDTM for this in the synchronize dirs tool. This will give an error for servers which do not support the command, but should not cause any harm.

I'd love a setting at the defined FTP-connection to say with which timezone the server is working, so that I can easyly see how old the file realy is, without calculatin every time. And the result of "compare dirs" (Shift-F2) would get better.

That's why MDTM will work for synchronize dirs only for now. In Synchronize dirs, you can set the time zone. I would need to make some big changes to the ftp implementation to make this work also in the normal file windows, so I will probably postpone it to a later version...

That already works in the current version.
But I'd like to see the file-times in my own time... I'm looking forward to future releases :)
