TC to support StuffIt compression (SIT extension)

Post by *DRP535 »

Is there any chance of a future version of TC being able to internally support the StuffIt compression format?

I've got one idiot who insists on sending me SIT files by e-mail and it's a pain in the arse to expand them. I really hate the format and the program that creates them but I'm being forced to acknowledge it's existence by this one customer who persists in using it. I'd love to be able to handle them with TC and then recompress them them using a real utility like ACE or RAR instead.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Please ask that user to send you ZIP files. The Stuffit program on the Mac can actually create ZIPs!
