Resolution 2048 x 1024

Post by *dave2000 »

Hello :D

I have change my resolution from win xp from 1024 x 768 to 2048 x 1024 but now i have with wincommander 5.51 no more the ext. and filesizes behind the file names ???? And i have only change the resolution because i have now a 17" LCD monitor.
When i go back to the 1024 x 768 size, then the ext. and filesizes appear again. !!
What do i rong ???? :?

Nothing to worry ...

Some settings are saved depending on the screen resolution (see according section at wincmd.ini)

Just drag the right border of the extension title slightly left and the hidden ones will reappear ...

Don't forget to keep your settings with menu item "Configuration / Save settings"

2048 x 1024 what a strange aspect ratio you must get?!
The height of a 1.333 aspect, with 2048 as the width, is 1536.

I always use 1.333 aspects, anything above 1.666 is just plain annoying, but 2.000!
Of all the planets I've been to, this one is my favorite.

dave2000,

And if you can't do the drag&drop you can also go in Configuration => Options and set the dimension manually.

I guess it's a fine resolution to watch a dvd.

Well, I have a 15" monitor which supports 1600x1200 (Dell Inspiron 8200) so I wouldn't be surprised if a 17" or 21" supported 2048 by whatever
