Button Bar Questions: Icon Collections

Post by *hfk »

Hello,

I'm loooking for icon collections that will replace the standard button bar collection. I'd also like some icons for expanding the standard button bar configuration. Is there a resource for such icons?

BTW, I'm not looking for replacement of system or folder icons: just the icons used on the button bar to represent various TC commands.

Thanks,

Frank

Well, I'd already been to Club Total, and I found icon libraries to replace system icons, but no icions for total commander commands (i.e. for the "Bar"). Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Frank

Hello hfk,

as far as I know, these icons are stored into wcmicons.dll in Your TC directory.

Probably with a ressource editor or an icon editor You would be able to modify them.

You also may have a look on wcicolib.icl (probably available from TC's website, or Maxwish's website).

the default buttonbar contains 19 buttons

11 from wcmicons.dll
1 from Totalcmd.exe
2 from external executables (notepad and write)
5 separators

there is no need to edit the icon only dll just change the buttonbar file.

All icon collections on Club Total seem to replacements for the file list icon library (IconLib setting in Totalcmd.ini)

The button bar does not need any special icon library, in fact you can use any. And for that matter, you can go to any Icon related site such as IconFactory (http://www.iconfactory.com/) and download any of the thousands of free icon collections around the internet.
