After the misleading false alerts created by the most sophisticated AV products have been extensively cleared up, I would like to come back to the real issue reported inside this thread:
(I know whom i will ask should SP1 ever make its way onto my machine and cause trouble to me. )

HolgerK: I too thank you. I finally got fed up with not having that old handy search on my context menu, and came here hoping to find an answer, which I did.
A suggestion: the ShellExView v1.23 - Shell Extensions Manager is more robust and has more features. It too is available from NirSoft, as well as a ton of other useful looking utils.
