Why do you need to exit TC ;-)

Option 'Exit' in context menu for the icon in the tray and option 'Exit' in menu

How would you actually end TC then?
Most programs that close to tray has an option to end the program when right clicking the icon in the tray.

That and usually the EXIT in the File drop down menu will close the program no matter what setting the Red X close is set at.

hello.

I support this too as an INI option,

But in the mean time, I use a small utility called WinTopMost which have the possibility to de-activate the X (close) button in the upper right of choosen program. ( BUT it's not FREE !)

Exit button in the button bar. :)

Yes, there's a problem here. A user could have hidden the buttonbar and then have no way to exit TC.
Alt+F4 close active window (program) and works everywhere, generally, even to close Windows (OS).

But my suggest is to cancel actual command setting "minimize to tray" and improve close command setting with above (wanderer) suggestion.
It's more clear and this option must be placed in configuration options.
Something like this:

Close options:
( ) Exit TC normal [this option can be default]
(.) Minimize to Tray on exit [doesn't mater how]

Also WIN + X shortcut can be used for exit TC from memory permanently.

BTW, which of commands can reverse cm_minimize (2000)?
Must be added.

Best wishes,
Eugen

It would work the same way the "Minimize to Tray" works now. Only you would have a tray icon right-click EXIT option.

cm_Restore (2016) I guess.

I think we should have both options, close to try and minimize to tray so if you hit either button, it would go to the tray. I sometimes click fairly fast and not always on target. ;)

Let me recommend you PowerPro.
I have it configured so RClick on the minimize button of any program minimizes it to tray.

TC already has the minimize to tray. I want to see the Close to tray added.

PowerPro will do it for you too. It's even more configurable than TC.
