I will consider it. The problem is that this is controlled by the SpecialFlags variable, which also controls many other (quite obscure) options, which don't really belong in the dialog box...

Problem still exist. I have TC 9.22 and SpecialFlags=32 doesn't help

Did you put SpecialFlags=32 in wcx_ftp.ini, or in wincmd.ini? (it should be in wcx_ftp.ini)

I did put it in wcx_ftp.ini
