Operation: the behavior of the [/] button has changed?
Before 9.20 when I clicked the / to get to the main directory, i.e., "C" it went to the top item. Now it stays on the directory I was in. Is there some way to go to the top?
Re: Operation
Is your tab locked? By default "/" button goes to locked dir of tab instead of drive root if tab is locked.
You can set LockedGoToDriveRoot=1 in wincmd.ini (Configuration section) if you don't want this, and you will be able to go to locked dir with cm_GoToLockedDir command.

I assume yo mean clicking the \ button (next to the .. button). Before 9.20 when I clicked the / to get to the main directory
I can confirm this - the change is seen the first time in TC 9.20b5:
And I think I like the vew behaviour better.History.txt wrote:27.05.18 Added: When going to the root of a drive or share, e.g. via Ctrl+< or "\" button, place cursor on the directory which was part of the path, e.g. go to root from c:\Windows\System32 -> put cursor on "Windows" (32/64)

You can use this button:Is there some way to go to the top?
Code: Select all
TOTALCMD#BAR#DATA
cm_GoToRoot,cm_GoToFirstEntry
wciconex.dll,15
Go to Root dir, first folder
-1
To make the button:
1. Mark the green text above (click SELECT ALL).
2. Copy it to the ClipBoard (press Ctri+C).
3. Right click on TC's buttonbar and choose "Paste".
