Post by *ps »

Can not finally new version of TotalCmd have a color-coded bases of windows depending on which unit just shows ..?

Example :
left window c : =light blue base ,
right window d : =light green ( can be selected )
etc.

I had to wait 20+2 years... :(

It works somewhat unusable. Ideal status would be in the settings:
Configuration - Options - View Mode and:
disc c: ... select the background color (I choose for example white)
disc d: ... select the background color (I choose for example grau)
disc e: ... select the background color (I choose for example grau again)
disc f: ... select the background color (I choose for example yellow)
FTP disc...... select the background color...
etc.

And this setting must be apply automatically to both wcmd panels.
If I then open with AltF1 c: /, the background of the left panel will be white (and all subfolders c:).
If I then open with AltF2 c: /, the background of the right panel will also be white.
If I then open with AltF2 d: /, the background of the right panel will be gray (and all subfolders d:).
...
This will only improve my orientation, I think.
Or is it going now?
Thank You,
Petr
