Synchronize Directories with \%appdata%\ , etc ..

Post by *pantantrolla »

Good,
I do not know if it's exclusive of v.9.21a, or even if it's not a bugs

When comparing two routes and one of them (at least), you have a folder named \%appdata%\ in the path, you can not compare those routes. (route message not valid)

On the other hand, if I ascend to a higher level and compare, if they appear as such in the screen of sync.

EDIT:

It seems that it also happens with other environment variables like \%PROGRAMDATA%\, \%PROGRAMFILES%\, \%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\, etc.

That's because the input field supports environment variables, and %appdata% translates directly to a directory name.

Thx ghisler,

I imagined that the shots would go there, but I did not know how he interpreted totalcmd.

ghisler(Author),
I think there should be a way to use % characters in paths and avoid expanding envvars...
