XnViewMP to view thumbnails

Post by *MARK2580 »

Hello, I have one small question: is it possible to make friends with TC and XnViewMP ? That it worked as it is now XnView / InfanView. When I specify the XnViewMP executable file, I get the error "file not found" and the empty XnViewMP window opens. :?:

You will have to ask the XnViewMP authors to support Total Commander. Both XnView and Irfanview have been adapted to work as a converter for TC.

I have set up a button for XNViewMP that works for me.

button41=D:\Total Commander\Applications\XnViewMP\xnviewmp.exe
cmd41=""D:\Total Commander\Applications\XnViewMP\xnviewmp.exe""
param41=%P%S
path41=D:\Total Commander\Applications\XnViewMP\
menu41=XNViewMP

It will open a single file under the cursor, multiple marked files. It will also let you move to next and previous in the same folder. If you click the button on a folder it will open them as thumbnails and give you all of the options available from XNViewMP.

Hope that helps in some way.

Hi Joe, FYI:
you can also right click such a button, choose "copy" and paste that here (ready to paste it to TC-button bar again).

I have re-arranged your excerpt from your *.bar file,
here for to create a button manually by hand:

Command: ""D:\Total Commander\Applications\XnViewMP\xnviewmp.exe""
Parameters: %P%S
Start path:
Icon: "D:\Total Commander\Applications\XnViewMP\xnviewmp.exe"
Tootltip: Launch XNViewMP with %P%S

No, unfortunately this one doesn't suit me at all. With the same success, I can just open xnviewmp directly. I'm interested in the preview of the folder without leaving TC, right in its window, as it works with xnview. :roll:

Understandably. Then I will write on their forum. I just thought that this system works the other way around.
