ftp connection color

Hi

Is there an option to choose a background color for a tab with ftp connection ?
I mean a different color for each ftp connection.
It is a good way to use color to be aware of working on a remote folder and not local one ...

You can do that by using "View Modes" combined with "Auto Switch Mode"

See: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/ftp-color1.png and http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/ftp-color2.png for an example that sets the background colors to "Light Yellow" for a folder named "tcmd" on an FTP connection.

If you just want a use the same color for all folders on FTP connections then you just omit the "+ Must match" rule.

If you want different colors for different dirs, you have to set up a View Mode and an Auto Switch Mode for each directory.

If you want to set up different colors for different FTP sites, then that is only possible if the path to the base dir (as shown in TC's location bar) is unique - which it often isn't - it is mostly just /
