I need a external / additional quickview pane please

Post by *MichelleFarlow »

Is there a way to add a quickview window? instead of replacing one of the existing file-list panes, I want a 2-pane view AND a quickview pane usage: I want to go through pictuters, documents, videos, and still be able to copy / move / traverse dirs, etc. sample screenshot: Image: http://tinypic.com/r/23li7ma/9 http://tinypic.com/r/23li7ma/9 http://tinypic.com/r/23li7ma/9 why now is too complicated: if I have the quickview covering "F:\" in the left pane, i can copy files to F:\ but I can change dir to something else, other than press TAB back to the right pane, disabling the quickview, press TAB to the left, change dir / or tab target, press TAB right, and ctrl-Q. more details: I saw discussions about 3+ panes, and in most of them, people said: "what will F5 do if there are 3 panes?" But I'm NOT asking for 3rd files-view pane, just a media view in addition to the main 2 panes.

You can then move+resize the separate quick view window and save its position - it will be stored separately from normal F3 position.
