isn't it time to have built-in support for connected smartphones?
if Windows file explorer recognizes the device, TCM should be able to display its content and copy or sync directories, even though it doesn't assign a drive letter to it.
infact why not have an app for the phone that connects it to the win version via the internet, without a cable, and even assign a drive letter to it?!
if all the above is too difficult, at least allow the Cloud 2.0 File system extension to work also on the Android version of TCM, which is a workaround...

I wasn't aware of this and it does help.
I still hope the programmers will automate the recognition and add it maybe as a button alongside the drive letters and solve this elementary issue as I suggested.
