Keep only one tab of a directory open at any point in time?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if there is a way for TC to keep only one tab of a particular directory open at any point in time.

Do you mean that it should always be impossible to close a specific tab with a certain directory?
Or do you mean, that, if you open a directory, already open, in either the same side, or in the opposite side, it shouldn't open?
Please elaborate on what exactly you are aiming for.

No, unfortunately not. I did try it, but it's problematic. For example, tab 1 shows c:\windows and tab 2 shows c:\windows\system32. Now you would go one directory up on tab 2. This would bring you to c:\windows. TC would have to close one of the two tabs. However, the user would maybe want to keep that tab and continue to e.g. c:\ or c:\windows\system or so.
