Little Bug while resizing the TC window >> tabs width

Post by *Zoran Pjevic »

Dear All

I stumbled upon this problem recently, when using TC on a screen in portrait mode. So the screen is high and pretty narrow.

The TC in its default landscape configuration is not usable, before resizing it. And if working in a folder with very long filenames, you wish to have only a single panel.

To achieve this today, it is required to resize TC, to move the slider to the right edge, and to resize the tabs so the filenames are not truncated.

So the bug, is that while resizing the TC window, the tabs width of name and ext are dynamically updated to get the additional width. You would expect the same behavior when moving the slider, but it is not.

So, please add this dynamic updating the tab width of name and ext to slider moving.

And as second, it would be really nice to have this landscape/portrait switching as a function that is either manually triggered, or even automatically by reading the orientation of the screen. It could be added as a view mode.

Regards,
Zoran

Menu Show > Vertical Arrangement.
