Hi
I have some trouble setting up a FTPS connection.
I have URL, Username, password and port.
I can make work if I use WinSCP with no problem, but I keep getting a Connection timeout in Total Commander.
I have in the URL in total commander entered:
ftp.mysite.dk:22
because its on port 22.
I have checked the SSL/TLS checkbox.
In username og password I have entered the given username and password.
When I try to connect, it takes some 30-60 seconds, and I then get a Connection Timeout.
But it works instantly in WinSCP.
I have just upgraded TC from 9.0 to 9.50.
Regards Michael

Check what ghisler wrote in a topic about FTP
I also found that checkbox SSL/TLS may not be sufficient. Some servers distinguish between implicit and explicit methods.
You can use prefix ftpis:// and ftpes:// instead of ftps.

Re: Setup FTPs connection
Are you sure it's port 22? That would be SSH, so SFTP, not FTPS.
The two have similar names but nothing to do with each other. Total Commander only supports FTPS internally.
To use SFTP, get the SFTP plugin from
https://www.ghisler.com/plugins.htm#filesys
Then double click on the downloaded ZIP to install it automatically.
To use, go to Network Neighborhood (Alt+F1, drive "\") and then to "Secure FTP".

You are right. Its SFTP. And I was really trying to do the right thing ... Sorryghisler(Author) wrote: ↑2020-02-12, 19:11 UTC Are you sure it's port 22? That would be SSH, so SFTP, not FTPS.

I'll try to get it to work now
