copy/move the files with source folder structure

Post by *bonheurtc »

After advance search, I find too many new files (e.g. later then 2020-01-01), they are in different folders in which there are many older files too. How to copy/move the found files with source folder structures to a new folder without copying/moving the older files?

I find Multi Commander can do this by ”recreate source folder structure to avoid collision” when you Copy/Move the new files, sure TC can, but I don’t know how to do it. Please help me.

Thank you very much.

Total Commander can do this only in branch view mode (Ctrl+B). In search, with full paths as the result, it's not clear from which directory to start.

Hi and welcome bonheurtc

See > [WCX] CopyTree: Copying files with folder structure

Plugin allows to copy/move files from branch view or search results panel ('Feed to listbox' button in search results dialog).
TC copies files from theese places w/o keeping directory structure, into single directory.
