How can I set up TC not to push network files to the local trash?

Post by *CDrewing »

Hi,

I am synching a local folder with a MS OneDrive folder using the synchronization function of TC. When there is a file in the remote folder that would be deleted through the asymmetric synch process, TC is not deleting it directly but it is downloading at first and then moving it to trash. Thats really annoying and does eat a lot of time for a 10 GB rar file. How can I set up TC not to use trash during synch?

Thx!

When you hold down Shift while clicking on the "Synchronize" or "OK" button, TC will delete the file directly and not to trash.

Does the Synch Tool follow the setting of: "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "Copy/Delete" -> "General Copy+Delete options" -> "F8/Del deletes to recycle bin (Shift=directly)" ?

I mean if that option is NOT enabled, will the Synch tool delete directly just by clicking the "Synchronize" button (without the Shift) ?
