Are we talking local or remote folders?
I have no problem using Shift+Alt+Tab on a NAS share with > 15TB data.
Did you check your performance monitor to see wether TC is still collecting data from your hard drives or over network?

Yes, it is network driver. When I press SHIFT+ ALT + ENTER to it calculate several folders. And then TC cannot be operated, and wait very long time. I cancel it at last.

I suggest trying Everything with size index enabled.
Then TC will use the value from Everything if enabled under Operation.
For an network drive you have to configure Folder indexing in Everything.

Yes, to my knowledge and tests, if you have enabled the option in TC and Everything as I said above.

For the problem with recaluclating when using ALT+Tab, this can be configured in Total Commander options in Operations - Refresh.

Fill in the box "No refresh for these drives"
Either the UNC path used for browsing in the form \\server\share
To set for all UNC pats use a single \
