Ctrl+Backspace does not work in lister search

It works in e.g. copy dialog and properly removes the last word. But when I open a lister and press Ctrl+F to search for a text, in this dialog it inserts a square. Which is not very helpful.

Also, it does nothing in file rename mode and in Find Files dialog. I'm sure if you look for it you can find more.

I'm using regular edit boxes/comboboxes, and they don't have this feature. I have to add it manually to each edit box which should support it.
