Yes, that's pretty much it. As already mentioned, the above PowerShell script(s) can make that whole shebang a lot easier. Just run the script, and then "build" the command like this:

"%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe" shell:appsFolder\[data_from_second_column]

and you're done. No manual digging in XML files necessary.
