TC 9.51 File drag/drop corrupts files

Post by *ArjanF »

When dragging/dropping files in a single pane using the shift key for move (drag/drop) the resulting file(s) are corrupted in some way. Specifically with MP4 files, they can no longer be played after being moved in this way. Without using the shift key (copy) with drag/drop doesn't corrupt the file.

As an afterthought, I am using TC 9.51 x64 version on Windows 10 version 1909.

As an addition, also the normal move (F6) function exhibits this behavior for me.

Not confirmed
I can move mp4 files around by any method without corruption.
You may have some Anti-virus or other software which is the problem here.
TC uses the Windows APIs to move or copy files and also Drag and Drop is done by the OS.

Have rebooted the machine, cannot reproduce anymore. Not sure what caused this, anti-virus unlikely as this machine only runs native Windows protection (Windows Defender).

Actually, Windows Defender in Windows 10 is an antivirus software.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
