Probably you have associated a 7z file with a program that uses a different icon for this file type

Archives like 7z or zip use the internal "packed folder" icon in Total Commander because they are opened inside TC and not launched on ENTER.

RAR archives also open in the commander, but have the correct icons the same as in the Windows Explorer. .

The standard icons for archives in the commander (both types) are very unpleasant , they are like folders, type two (new )looks more like folders, users have to look closely to distinguish it, this significantly slows down navigation and others operation with files.

That's a .z archive. Total Commander doesn't handle that internally, except when installing the .z plugin - and then TC shows its own icon.
