Need help with renaming files

Post by *Nanley »

Hello everyone. So I'm trying to figure out how to use rename tool CTRL+M. I want to rename a big number of photos. All of them have random names. I want to rename all of them, but the only option i see is search>rename. How to "select all" for rename?

Example files:

ag83knslw.jpg
jg7sjhba.jpg
wury73nmsf.jpg

Change to name with counter:

Select all the files you want to rename in TC's file panel BEFORE you open the Rename Tool.
License #524 (1994)
Danish Total Commander Translator
TC 11.03 32+64bit on Win XP 32bit & Win 7, 8.1 & 10 (22H2) 64bit, 'Everything' 1.5.0.1371a
TC 3.50 on Android 6 & 13
Try: TC Extended Menus | TC Languagebar | TC Dark Help | PHSM-Calendar

Thank you for the reply, but i was asking about files that are already in the tool. How to change all of them at once with new name and counter?
