Open images using Photos and not Photo viewer (Surface Go)

Hi,
When opening images from Windows explorer i get opened in the Photos app, opening images from TC gets me opened through the (ugly) Windows Photo Viewer, could i change this so always get opened through Photos app?
In "Default apps" i have "Photos" but as i said this is not used to open images through TC...

(I guess Photos apps is a special for Surface or tablets devices...little and nice to draw rapidly on a photo)

IIRC this option can also be changed via TC's GUI: Set the cursor on an image file (e.g. jpeg or png), then select Files > Associate With, which should give an option to disable the replacement.

The reason is this:
Windows 10: Photos app can't browse previous / next photos!
