Possible Bug with Keyboard Shortcuts - PACK command.

Post by *DracoChronicles »

I have found some issues with the stated "Pack" command shortcuts.

I found that the mentioned Alt+F5 does nothing
I also found thath Shift+ALT+F5 opens up Pakcing - but with different settings than if you go to the menus and click "Pack" commands.

Even though I save, edit or change the settings in any way, the settings under "Shift+ALT+F5" does not change anything. I have to re-click everything every time.

Thanks for looking into this.

Alt+F5 is often intercepted by the display driver, e.g. by NVidia GeForce experience.

To fix it, press Alt+Z, then click on the settings icon (cogwheel). There
is a menu option to set the hotkeys. To remove a hotkey, click on it and
press Delete.

Shift+ALT+F5 if for moving files to the archive - so the option "Move to archive" is automatically selected when you use Shift+ALT+F5.

The setting of the 2 first options "Also pack path names (only recursed)" and "Recursively pack subdirectories" are remembered
The chosen Packer is remembered.
The rest of the options are not remembered.
These options are only remembered when you actuslly perform a packing.
