How to save the list of duplicate files

Post by *mmm »

Hello,
Try as I may I cannot figure out how to save/export the list of duplicate files.
May I ask for y hint?

I can obviously handle a dozen of items by means of Copy-Paste one at a time, however, this is not feasible for 100+ findings.

Many thanks,
mmm

You can also copy the names of the selected items to Clipboard with one of these commands under "Mark"
"Copy Selected Names To Clipboard"
"Copy Names With Path To Clipboard"
"Copy To Clipboard With All Details"
"Copy To Clipboard With Path+Details"

With my Extended Menus (see signature) you can find 27 different way of copying the names of the selected items - see: https://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/copynamesmenu.png

Or "Mark / Save selection to file" in the last step…
Unfortunately, in any case lists have no separators between groups of duplicates.
That's why I usually use Alt+Shift+F7 and keep search results in a separate window.
