Check you context menu handlers because that is normaly not TCs foult.
Most users do that using Nisofts ShellexView.
Disable all non-Microsoft context handlers and enable them one after the other
to find the problem one.

Maybe you have accidently changed the PopupDelay=500 parameter in wincmd.ini to a higher value?
Help wrote:PopupDelay=500 Right mouse button selection mode: Delay in milliseconds until right click context menu is shown. Shorter clicks or click+drag just selects the file(s).
Personally I have set this value to 250.

Can i add this parameter
Yes - add it to the [Configuration] section and restart TC.

So you will never find what context menu handler gives problems
without manualy messing around in the registry.
But that is your decision.

Just to make it clear: Horst.Epp suggested that you use NirSoft ShellExView to disable all non-Microsoft shell extensions to find the one(s) that prevent the context menu from opening. If you need a detailed description on how to use this program, search the forum for "ShellExView". Issues such as this or crashes because of shell extensions come up quite often.
