I don't get the use of this function. Please :)

Hallo all :)

I don't understand the purpose of the "Define other..." function as well as "set to default". That's when we tap the "A/B" button then tap & hold the small icon on the very left.

Could anyone enlighten me please? :?:

Thanks!

(and thanks for this top quality soft  )

Hello, phuki,

seems as if nobody knows the answer. I would like to know, too. I did not find anything about it in cecmd.htp (helpfile).

The scroll icon on the left means "viewer". By default, this will open the file for viewing in Pocket Internet Explorer. The "Define other..." allows to define a different viewer (e.g. an image viewer if you have installed any), and "set to default" changes back to the default viewer.

Hello, Christian.

Thanks a lot for your explanation.
Now I realize why tapping on the two options did not have any effect on my Axim5: so far no other viewer has been installed, so nothing could be changed or set back to its default value.

Kind regards,
Karl
