new lister plugin for multimedia file

Post by *fg_2002fr »

This plugin is an extension of my precedent plugin mp3idtag.wlx
This last version was unable to play MP3pro file also I have integrate the Windows media player 9.0 engine. btw, this plugin can play all the files
WMP9.0 can play by adding directshow codec; just add the extention in the ini file and install codec. this is why this plugin change of name.

you can also activate the visualisation effect (use 'f' key) for audio file
or stretch the movie to lister's windows dimension (use 'f' key)
or play movie in fullscreen (double click on movie)

Size: 170 KB
You can download it here:

Hi, thanks to test my plugin, I will try to help you.

look at the name of the plugin, it will be "mmedia.wlx", my first post of the zip file contain the good plugin but with the old name(mp3idtag.wlx)
I realized that very rapidly after posting my message in this forum.
If this, change the name of the file to "mmedia.wlx"

if not: this plugin is written in Visual C++ 6.0 and needs some library to be installed ( essentially msvcrt.dll )

If you disabled "Multimedia (AVI, WAV, ...)" option, no lister plugin will be activated automatically, so you need to press 4 in lister to activate plugin.

to valentino

absolutely not, you deactivate only the default lister for multimedia file but others listers continue to work. if you dont have an addon plugin for the media file you want to play then "text only" lister was used.

if you install "mmedia.wlx" and disable "multimedia" otion you can play all media file MCI can play and many more (MP3pro, avi with special codec ...) this one substitute favourably
the default lister for media file.

Yes, you're right :?. To disable all lister plugins on startup one also need to turn off "Load bitmaps as graphics on startup" option.
