Do you mean this syntax?

I'm not aware of any, but maybe one of the editor plugins like Synplus could be adapted.

Yes this is the Syntax, which can be converted to many other formats, like HTML.
But my question was about a preview of the resulting output document, not on syntax-highlighting the markdown-code.
You can get an idea of what i mean by looking to the screenshot of MarkdownPad:

UILister uses the Oracle Viewers and Markup Lanuage is among the supported formats.

But there isn't Markdown supported, sadly. Markdown is a special type of markup.Horst.Epp wrote:UILister uses the Oracle Viewers and Markup Lanuage is among the supported formats.

Yep, this would be nice to have something, what renders Markdown as HTML in Lister or at least syntax highlighter for Markdown (similar way as Markdown syntax highlighting in Notepad++ for example).

Sadly it doesn't have a 64 bit version. But yep, it has great Markdown render.Kyles wrote:SynWrite 6.5.940 (32bit) plugin can support Markdown.

There is a 64 bit version, but it hasn't been updated since 2012: http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/SynWrite_x64.html
Maybe it has the features you need.

Oh, I didn't know that, thank you for the information. Sadly it doesn't support Markdown syntax highlighting. At least by itself, I'll try to investigate that.petermad wrote:2ferenczy

BTW the full SynWrite editor has the best Markdown syntax highlighting I have ever seen. And you can also set for example different font and size for each highlighted element. What's great especially for Markdown.

Recently some people always send me markdown files, and other people asked if TC can view markdown file. The result is I can view them in TC lister, but only plain text, no pictures showed. If I rename file's extension to html, then pictures showed but markdown format lost.
I am not sure if some plugins already support this markdown format which is popular in recent years. If the answer is no, then really hope to see a completely new plugin just like ieview.wlx, htmlview.wlx or office.wlx.
Seems this picture shows a part of difference between source markdown file and previewed markdown final result, it's much easier than HTML:

Markdown file must be converted to html and it's not very convenient.
For example, SynWrite uses plugin MarkdownPreview, CudaText uses plugin MarkdownPreview (editors are uses Python package).
I use MultiMarkdown, AutoIt script (comments in Russian, sorry) and plugin HTMLView.

MarkdownEditor
There is an opensource MarkdownEditor on github.
Maybe someone could convert to Total Commander plugin. (viewer)

You could try Multilister https://totalcmd.net/plugring/filter.html you also need a tool to convert markdown to html, by default it uses pandoc - http://pandoc.org/ - but no doubt you can use similar tools as well, perhaps http://fletcherpenney.net/multimarkdown/
