WebDav timetamp of uploaded files

Post by *Abmea »

Hi,

TC does not set the file timestamp after uploading a file via WebDav (to an IIS server).

I'm aware of all the problems with this function in WebDav and FTP.
However, there was a suggestion on the forum that TC couldn't do it because IIS did't support the PROPPATCH method. Reading through MSDN at least, it seems that IIS should support that method.

So, I know this question comes up just about every 6 months or so, but is there any hope on having correct timestamps when uploading via WebDAV? Thanks in advance.

I made some tests when I wrote the plugin, and even had some e-mail conversations with the developers of a webDAV server. The results were that not a single server allows to upload the timestamp, not via extra HTTP request parameters, and not via PROPPATCH either.

Ok, thanks.
Just to make sure, I'll test this is in an all-linux environment next week as well. If it works there I will let you know.
