hmmm...
( You can use CTRL-Wheel to change temporarily font size)
i can't get this to work.
i'm using win98b with ms-intellipoint-explorer-mouse, driver v4.10.0851.0
Use Font and size choosen by user
this won't work for me too.
tried ansi/ascii/variable through all viewmodes with different fonts, which
works like expected except for your plugin. also checked the win95-edition, same results.

I use CTRL-Wheel under WinXP with the default device driver and it works.

For the font, you're right. I'm surprised because I tried this before and it was working. I have to do something wrong. I will check that.

thank you. :D

what about an option for the fontsize (and font) in the optionsdialog of your fine plugin.
perhaps utilizing a slider for fontsize as alternative/fallback for users, who can't get ctrl-wheel combo to work.

Even the special 95 plugin version still refuses to install under WinNT (Sp6a).

i'm sorry to disappoint you here, :(

for testings purposes i changed every available setting in tc's configdialog
dealing with fonts and fontsizes. so i did with the lister settings, again.

while the changes are visible in tc and the lister, both versions of fileinfo
v1.41 are'nt affected. winxp and win98/95 seems to handle this issue different.

is any body else having the same problems (win98) or am i alone?
i don't want to bother fg_2002fr for problems he probably is'nt responsable for...

p.s.: fg_2002fr, did you take my previous post into consideration?

How do I change the font size for the "File Properties" and the "Image File Header" windows ?
Currently in my machine they are too big.
I currently have Win 98SE in my machine.

:?

Your plugin grew a lot! Thanks!
Some bugs/requests:

1. "Last Modif. Date : 01/01/1601 03:00:00"
I'd like to see the man who modified it then... :)
2. "FileSize : 1482 bytes ( 1.447 KB, 0.001 MB )
FileVersionInfoSize : 1482 bytes
"
but actually file size is 409656 bytes. Don't know about FileVersionInfoSize.
3. "Image File Header :
Time Date Stamp: 3E7E1874 -> Sun Mar 23 22:26:28 2003
"
but timestamp should be "23:26:28". It seems that daylight saving time isn't considered. The same gives DumpBin but probably you could fix this? And could you take Control Panel -> Regional Settings for date-time format?
4. Exports table: columns aren't aligned (ordinals are displayed in Name column).
5. Dll Dependency tab:
"SomeFile.dll
---C:\WINNT\system32\SHLWAPI.DLL
------C:\WINNT\system32\OLE32.DLL
------Module Not found
------C:\WINNT\system32\OLE32.DLL
"
Questions:
Why Ole32.dll listed twice?
What module not found?
What do hour-glass icons mean?
6. "Undecorate function names" option.
7. "Export info to text file" facility.
8. Font is too big... :) Can it be configurable? And face too, not only size.

Ver 1.4.2
- Fixed : use now correct fontsize
( Don't know why Christian Ghisler take fontsize in DeviceContext instead of points!)
- Added : some code to check if registry keys for TC are valid ( essential for font choosen by users )
- autosave option fixed
- Fixed : time and date in Win95 version
- More compatibility with old delay-load DLL dependency

to valentino

1 - I'm a visionary, it's for time's traveller
3 - done
5 - there is some dll from microsoft that don't follow microsoft's conventions
Why Ole32.dll listed twice?
What module not found?
same reason
What do hour-glass icons mean?
it's for the delay-load DLL dependency

6 - may be
7 - done
for the too big font, it is fixed now

Thanks for your remarks

I keep getting the "HKCU\Software\.... not valid" registry warning.
Could you make an option to turn it off ?

I don't use any registry keys for TC. On some computers I use, I'm not allowed to add anything to the registry, so I load my wincmd.ini through the command line options.

Thanks for corrections! I'll check new version.

About 5-th point: now I know what hour-glass icons mean, but
I didn't understand your answer about:
Why Ole32.dll listed twice?
What module not found?
