Yes, there is.
When you select Pack files and selected the rsz extension,
make sure to hit the [Configure...] button before you start the whole process.

In there, select:
Output to the same directory as the input
and
Replace the original file

and it should work like just like you described.

You probably should test the process on some temporary file first,
because otherwise all original files are overwritten quite quickly
if you don't have a backup, in case sth. went wrong.

Oh my GOD ! Thank You so much !

now only just one tiny problem occured in the process : I have tons of folders with japanese characters in they'r names (sometimes even in the image file's name too) and with these kind of folders/images the program tells me that it can't handle them, so I can skip/stop the process.
and then it leaves those folders/images in the folder the same as before...

but my TCM shows the japanese chracters well in it's two windows...

is there a way to make it handle those folder/files in them ?

thank You so much in advance kind sir.

Indeed, it seems that the plugin has problems handling Unicode file names.
I don't think there's much you can do,
of course besides contacting the plugin author to fix that behavior.

Otherwise you could collect and select the problematic file/dir names
and rename them with the MRT function by using some non-Unicode mask.
You can then process your pictures and start the MRT again and using the Undo function to restore the original names.

yeeah, I did think about that of course, but the thing is , when I click on any member's "PM" button (send private message) , it says : "Private messaging has been disabled on this board." ,
I tried to do the same thing on the author's profile too, but no luck ...

so it is kind of impossible.. at least for me...

Hi taohe

I used RSZ 2.6 and I found that the resized image has the same aspect ratio as the original one.
E.g. the original image is 400 * 300, when use "fixed size in pixals" and settinmg width=200, height=100
the output size is actually 133 * 100 instead of 200 *100.

While other app like Faststone photo resizer can overlook the aspect ratio.
