I sure was glad to see it come out. I was so used to using the Norton Commander I felt like Bill Gates had really missed the boat with his windoze programs.

One of the nicest features of NC was the remote link to another computer via a parallel port cable. It worked very fast for file transfers. Setting up a direct connection using windows is much more of a problem today.

- The // port connection is still nicely supported by TC. It can be useful often when installing a few PCs and having not any network-card and switch installed yet.
- It's very well documented in the official Help and in the TC-Tutorial I make.

- I used it before, but now it's better to have a L.A.N. which is faster, normally.
