"Separate tree" mode: Tab & Shift-Tab

When in "Separate tree" mode ***in both panels***, if you are in the files section of a panel and you press tab, you are transfered in the files section of the opposite panel. That's nice.

If you wish to be transferred to the tree section of the same panel, you just press shift tab. That's nice too.

If you are in the tree section of a panel, by pressing tab, you would expect to be transferred to the tree section of the opposite panel. Instead of that, you are transferred to the files section of the same panel.

At least when using TWO sep. trees one would expect to be transfered to the OPOSITE file panel. So here I agree that a change could be made.

I forgot to mention, i'm using two separate tree panels... I corrected it now...

Hmm, I thought a long time about this when I implemented it, and decided to go with the current solution. Why? People may have pressed Shift+Tab by mistake, and would then never get out of the separate tree panel with Tab. Therefore I think that it's better to always go the the normal file panels with Tab.

Hmmm. In order to protect some newbie from doing something wrong, you implemented an inconsisted behavior?!... Noble thinking but what if a user using keyboard-only wishes to travel in the tree structures. Wouldn't the current behavior be nerve-braking? Anyway, i don't think that this would be a problem even for newbies. If a user wishes to use the keyboard only, he probably has the experience to play with tab and shift tab a little and discover how it works. Is there a chance you at least add an option in the INI for this - or perhaps a poll?

Not really... That's what shift-tab is for...

So you see Shift+Tab as a sort of state modifier switching between tabbing between trees or between file panels, whereas I saw it as a way to tab between a file panel and it's sep tree.

Maybe your way is better, and I agree not being too concerned with the newbees.
