Bug with "Separate tree" refreshing
1) Open one tree separate panel.
2) Execute cm_OpenDrives for comparison
3) Open for example Virtual CloneDrive and set number of virtual drives for 2
4) In panel, with cm_OpenDrives executed, appears one disk but after 1-2 sec appears also second
5) In "Separate tree" is visible only one drive !
It happens also when you insert USB drive. It also doesn’t appear in separate tree

I cannot reproduce this problem here. Do you have a line
DeviceChange=0
in your wincmd.ini?

I can confirm that. See http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/septree.png where I have just inserted USB-drive U: which is only seen in the left sep tree. If I have only 1 sep tree running, then it is not updated when inserting the USB drive either. The same thing happens when I have (ordinary) trees in the two file panels: http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/septree2.png - no drive update of the sep. tree.But please check what happen when you have two tree separate panel and two panels with cm_OpenDrives executed. Then in one tree panel appears two new drives but in second only one.

Another similar bug with refreshing...
I've created the file 'AUTORUN.INF' in the root of my usb drive and it contains:
But when I opened next instance of TC I saw drive with correct icon in panel but also in separate treepanel!
See: http://members.lycos.co.uk/kajoj100/temp/septree.png
I've created the file 'AUTORUN.INF' in the root of my usb drive and it contains:
After inserting drive I: to usb port it appears in panel, with cm_OpenDrives executed, but with standard icon, not this one I wrote in autorun.inf (of course drive didn't appear in treepanel).[autorun]
icon = IconName.ico
But when I opened next instance of TC I saw drive with correct icon in panel but also in separate treepanel!

I have tried that - the drives appear in both tree views and in both "My Computer" lists here, both with and without autorefresh!But please check what happen when you have two tree separate panel and two panels with cm_OpenDrives executed. Then in one tree panel appears two new drives but in second only one.
I have no idea what is wrong on your system, maybe some settings problem? Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

Unfortunately I 'm still unable to reproduce it.
I did find out, though, that a CD drive can disappear when the CD is ejected. Maybe your system is generating several arrival/departure messages causing this problem. Let's see whether fixing the disappear problem has any effect on your problem too.

Try to do the following, assuming that you have an USB-stick that only get's its drive letter when inserted in the USB-slot:Unfortunately I 'm still unable to reproduce it
1: Choose 2 separate trees.
2: In both left and right sep tree click the little minus sign to the left of "My Computer" to collapse the trees fully.
3: In both left and right sep tree click the little plus sign to the left of "My Computer" to expand the tree one level so you can see all drive letters.
4: Insert the USB-stick and observe how the drive letter of the stick becomes visible in the left separate tree (immediately), in both file panels (with a little delay) but it does NOT appear in the RIGHT separate tree.

Sorry, I could never reproduce this error, although I tried many times. This problem will therefore have to remain unsolved.

It ONLY happens if \\My Computer\ is opened in at least one of the two file panels.

Yes, I tried it with that many times, even with "My Computer" in both panels - but the drives always appeared and disappeared as they should.
