Unfortunately I cannot confirm this error. What file name did you choose? and what have you defined as the editor?

EditPlus is the editor.
I tried with different names.
TC burnes CPU to 100% and it denies to be killed for several seconds.
I tried the same in old version and it worked fine (just several seconds latter, so no other system component was changed). Also, ini file location was that of the old TC.
I will try again tomorrow.

I can't reproduce it now, unforutnately... but that was definitely some TC related problem, I can say. Possibly, combination of other factors was present witch I was not aware in that time.
BTW, the EditPlus is superb editor. It has no bugs, it is fast, and in all words pandan to TC in editor world when we talk about speed, relability etc... It never crashed for me and I use it for 6 years or so everyday.

Re: SHIFT F4 on file name crashes TC.
Try to reread source CTRL+C instead of close TC. This happened to me the same but I had location changed to my favourite editormajkinetor ! wrote:SHIFT F4 on file name crashes TC after OK is pressed
New file name is there after I reopen TC.
Try remove your editor from option menu and add it again.
