Bug: Incorrect window resize

Post by *Kurt »

After learning the method for turning off the button bar, I discovered a bug during its window resizing.

The following will reproduce:
  • Start the program with the PPC in landscape
  • Turn off the button bar
  • Switch to portrait
  • Turn on the button bar
Simple problem of the window height being stored and not recalculated. I have a PPC6700 with a sidewas slideout keyboard, so I do a lot of switching between portrait and landscape.

Thanks for your report, I will try to reproduce it. Is this with version 2 final or 2.5 beta?

Kurt, I couldn't reproduce that error with the 2.5 beta 2 version on my Dell Axim X51v running WM5.

Oops, sorry, Kurt, you're right. I didn't follow your instructions correctly and switched to landscape mode when TC was already running.

The error blanks a portion of the screen roughly the size of the on-screen keyboard. Toggling the keyboard on and off restores the window to its correct dimensions, however -- at least on my device.
