I have changed it EXACTLY as described here, so I have no idea why it shouldn't work. Sorry, I will not invest any more time in these dual screen problems as long as I cannot test it.

I'm considering to get an USB->SVGA adapter just to test this problem. Does anyone here have such a device and can describe whether it is usable?

Can you check whether it it has improved now? If not, please give me exact instructions what I need to do to reproduce the error.

Fixed!

Also the misplaced quick search dialog reported by TealC (I could reproduce this with TC7pB2, and larger screen declared as primary screen), seems to be corrected in TC7pB3.

The only remaining (minor) bug is:
http://holgerk.drivehq.com//TC//TC7B1_QuickSearch_bug.gif
when the right panel width is smaller than the quick search dialog. But this is no big annoyance.

Thanks
Holger

I can reproduce that the quick search width is not reduced. It's currently not planned to change that.

However, I cannot reproduce your screenshot, where the quick search dialog goes below the current window. Is this still happening with beta 3?

It's ok. Normally TCs panel width is larger than shown in this screenshot. ;)

Hmmh, didn't post such a screenshot.
Do you refer to this post "http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=98596#98596" from the German forum:
"TC6.55 bug. Vertical screen arrangement, primary screen is the upper screen. When TC is placed on secondary screen, the quick search dialog is always shown on primary screen"

This bug is fixed since TC7pB1 (and also in TC7pB3)

So please move this thread to "TC7 Fixed bugs".

Many thanks for this dual screen improvements.
