[BUG] MRT perform search & replace after edit names

Post by *ts4242 »

after editing MRT file names in Notepad and return to MRT, I found that, MRT perform search & replace if there was character(s) in Search/Replace fields, althought these fields are disabled and supposed not to act

try this
1- create the following files:
multi-rename-tool-1.txt
multi-rename-tool-2.txt

2- in MRT type - in search and _ in replace
3- execute edit names...
4- in notepad make names looks like:
multi_re-name_tool_1.txt
multi_re-name_tool_2.txt

5- after returning to MRT, re-name will be re_name

i think MRT must not do any changes to the file name after editing in Notepad

Bug confirmed.
i think MRT must not do any changes to the file name after editing in Notepad
I agree, MRT applied already all rules. No need to reapply it after final editing.

Strange, this shouldn't happen. I will investigate.
