Imagine the possibilities:
- internal scripting language
- undo
- startup / background plugins
- search / pack / synchronize / configure / ... in background, each more powerful than a current one
- much more
I'm *almost* sure it is possible to write external tool that'd make TC accept such plugins.
But I'm too green to write myself such thing. Maybe it'd work, but I have no doubt it would be far from what it could be.
Anybody willing to help me?
Universal plugin interface

Universal?
What do you mean with "universal"?
There are several plugin apis available for TC.
You can choose one of C, .NET, Java, Visual Basic or Perl
Is yet another scripting language of your "universal" idea more than that?

Universal means:
- 2 way communication between TC and it's plugins
- interaction between plugins
- support for all tasks done by 4 existing interfaces and MUCH more with just one.
Update: I said I'm almost sure it's possible. Now "almost" is not needed any more. It can be done...and can be done in a way that's by fully independent from TC version.
