Dir Tree View mode in TC7pb2 suggestion

Post by *sangwooksohn »

While I really like the new look of TC7pb2, there's a one small annoying TC behavior.

In my 'wincmd.ini' file, I have following entries.

[Left]
path=D:\downloads\
ShowAllDetails=2

[Right]
path=D:\downloads\
ShowAllDetails=1

Above entries makes sure that the left Windows of TC7pb to be displayed in Directory Tree View mode, while right windows is set to display in All File Details mode.

Prior to TC7pb's (for example TC6.55a), when TC is started with above settings, TC has left windows in OPENED Dir Tree View mode.
However, in TC7pb2, Dir Tree is closed when TC7pb2 is started.

Here are screenshots.
In TC6.55a

In TC7pb2

What I think is more convinient

I hope there's an option to change default Dir Tree View to be opened as third screenshot. It would make more sense to old-fashioned user like me. 8)
Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestion. The separate trees should already do that. I will try to add it for the integrated tree too.

Will there be any last minute change for this tree behavior in final release?
Just wondering. :)
