Fine :-)

Most of the Title captions in the standard Windows dialog boxes for "Open", "Save", "Export" and "Import" are not translatable.

It would also be nice if "Num" was translatable in the hotkeys editor - like for example the string 406=Shift is translatable.

I would also like to see an option to give the cm_LeftXXX and the cm_RightXXX commands the same shortcuts as the cm_SrcXXX commands when exporting to Main Menu. As it is right now all my shortcuts for cm_left/Right items are deleted when exporting to Main Menu - which is quite annoying.

I will consider that!!!

Indeed adding such option isn't easy at all, as it will need special analizing for each command in main menu to see if it is cm_Leftxxx or cm_Rightxxx then get the equivalent cm_Srcxxx

anyway i have another solution, try to add cm_Leftxxx and cm_Rightxxx code and hotkey to tc default hotkeys.hky file

try and tell me the result

It works fine! I also tried translating key names like Left, Right, Up, Down, Back and Num in the "tc default hotkeys.hky" file, and it works fine for exporting to Main Menu. The only key that I tried to translate that didn't work was Shift (but that key is translated by TC Hotkeys Editor anyway, so that doesn't matter).

The only thing I miss now is that I can be in control of the sequence of the keys when written to the .mnu file. For example: I prefer Shift+Ctrl+F1 for Ctrl+Shift+F1 - and I tried to change the sequence of these keys in the "tc default hotkeys.hky" file but the keys are still written in the pattern Ctrl+Shift+X

Be careful! i'm sure that translating "tc default hotkeys.hky" will break some program functions, it is better to wait for beta 5 :)

Well, this is very easy, what about making this option available for whole the program not only exporting to main menu?

When I press the button "Export To Main Menu..." in the Hotkeys Editor I get and error dialog saying:
Run-time error '9'.

Subscript out of range

After that the editor crashes!

That helped.

Now I have another problem. If I use a language file where string 406=Shift is tranlated to something other than Shift (for example 406=Skift), then the correct default keys are not shown for shortcuts involving the Shift key.

For example is: cmSrcThumbs. 269 is shown having Ctrl+F1 in stead of Ctrl+Skift+F1 as default hotkey. The error doesn't show until the Hotkey Editor has been restarted.

This worked OK in beta4.

Works fine now :-)

In tc default hotkeys.hky may I suggest to change:

Code: Select all

908=F8
to:

Code: Select all

908=F8 = Delete

Let me know when you want the translation for v. 5.50

In "tc default hotkeys.hky" you now have these entries:
3302=Ctrl + Shift + Num +
3304=Ctrl + Shift + Num -
3312=Shift + Num +
3314=Shift + Num -
3322=Shift + Num *
May I point your attention to the fact that this only is true when MarkDirectories=0
