Top plugins you must have ?

Post by *bugmenot »

Ok. So I am new to TC, and because I don't want to install any Power Packages I want to install some plugins for myself, so can you tell me what are the most important plugins and what plugins do I need to install at your opinion. Most important plugins ?
Thanks

Depends solely on you needs.

I've got these packer plugins:
- iso plugin
- 7zip plugin
- catalog maker (writes dirs and files to a file)
- msi plugin
- total SQX (another great packer)

File plugins:
- registry
- back to life

And I also got another menu file, which makes all the hidden features of TC visible and sorted in the menus.

Go to http://www.totalcmd.net/ or http://www.ghisler.com/addons.htm and find yourself some useful plugins.

2bugmenot:
There can't be such list, it highly depends on one's needs.

From this list I'd consider only 7zip as must have, but I'd add Imagine.
I think you'll do the best if you'll try the most downloaded plugins.
