[BUG] pb4 Directory-History (Alt-Down) pops up randomly

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Sorry, as long as I cannot reproduce it, I cannot fix it either. I've been running TC 7 beta for many weeks now without a key, and never had this problem.

It's really random. I can meet but I can't beg!

One clue is the position of pop-up is also random, it's not same as using alt-down or click button.

Good News!

That phenomenon seems already nonexistent in RC2.

Better news: It have never been!
The Weird history list showing.. was related to a very unofficial Total Commander Powerpack .
Even the english spoken part of the polish forum for TC PowerPack (English) knows about that: annoying popup directory hotlist

Edit: Better news: (Part 2)

As you can read in the answer in that thread you mentioned it's not related to TC PowerPack you can find at totalcmd.pl and totalcmd.net.
Another pack (AFAIK Russian one) with the same name has appeared and it's related to it.

Not really - I offered a free registration only to someone who can reproduce it with an unregistered and uncracked version of TC. :)

Please add the following string to your wincmd.ini under section [Configuration] and then restart Total Commander:

HistoryDebug=1

Then please report what error messages are shown.

Christian means the situation when the history menu appears without your explicit calls. Does TC show any messages in this particular situation, and if yes - which ones?

Well, I have put a call to MessageBox everywhere in the program where ShowDirHistoryMenu is called.

Are you sure that you get the history, and not some other kind of list, e.g. directory hotlist (Ctrl+D) or something from Windows?
