I have this issue with Total Commander a few times. For some reason when I upload a file, it goes to about 12% and then just freezes, and nothing happens. Then to cancel it, I need to click Abort like 10 times before it stops.
My internet connection is fine and isn't dropping out. Any ideas on why it is doing this?

Difficult to say - it may be a firewall problem, or a hanging connection. Do you see anything in the log file? You can enabled it via Configuration - Options - FTP.
If not, you can check with Wireshark (former Ethereal) what is happening. The program is really not hard to use:

Good afternoon,
• Aside : I couldn't download that tool (I would need it for a network issue here),
instead of the programme, I get a *.php page…
- Note : My "ZoneAlarm" firewall (gratis version) has not any option to set the damn "referrer" header.
- Thus, same issue for the new public versions of TC…
